Who we are

RIVEST Talent is an assessment tool operated by RIVEST Co. (9451-9634 Québec inc.), Repentigny, Quebec.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information

Patrice Rivest : patrice@rivest.co. Requests for access, correction, withdrawal of consent or deletion should be sent to this person. A response is given within 30 days.

Information collected

Your access code; your first name (required, it appears on your report); your last name, age range and industry (optional); an encrypted fingerprint of your email if you provide it (the email itself is never stored); your answers and response times; an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address; the date and version of your consent.

Why

To produce your report; to check assessment quality (answers too fast or too uniform); to build, without your name, the instrument’s comparison benchmarks and measure its reliability; if you consent, to include your profile in your team map; to protect the service against abuse.

Who has access

RIVEST Co. only. If you consented to sharing, the organisation that gave you the code sees your first name and results in the team map, never your detailed answers. No map is produced for fewer than three people. Your information is never sold or rented.

Where it is hosted

In a database hosted in Canada (Supabase, Canada Central region). The application is served by Netlify: your requests pass through its infrastructure, which does not retain your information.

How long

36 months after your assessment. After that, everything that identifies you is deleted; only your answers, now anonymous, are kept for comparison benchmarks.

Decisions

Your report describes behavioural preferences you reported. It must not be used on its own for a hiring, promotion or dismissal decision, and no automated decision is made from it.

Cookies

Two strictly functional cookies: your assessment session (24 hours) and, for administration, the console session (8 hours). No advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You may access your information, have it corrected, withdraw consent or request deletion by writing to the person above. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
